U528 new software 12/11/2018 on hopper 3 DVR

I see the "blink" a few seconds after bringing a Hopper/Joey out of standby mode is back with this version. Not a big deal, but it was nice when it was gone.

I have this same issue with my wireless joey & HWS.

You are correct, it isn't a big deal except the price we pay continues to increase, while the product quality declines

Ever since this update - closed captioning keeps coming on by itself but not very often. I've had it happen twice around late night say 10pm.

No, but the tech portal is full of reports of Hopper 3's changing channels by themselves, volume turning up and down..... and WiFi Joeys where the Access Point is connected to a HIC not staying connected.

I have a bug with the U528.
When using the 54 voice remote. I speak "ESPN" it goes to ESPNU every time. This is also happening with my 2 4K Joeys. Never had this problem with U527.

Update: After resetting I still have the same problem.

I use Alexa occasionally, it goes to the right station--> ESPN 140 but not the 54 remote, it goes to ESPNU 141.

Before I call Dish, anyone with a 54 Remote, Hopper3-U528 with a subscription to all the ESPN stations please try using the Voice Microphone Button Command "ESPN" and let me know if yers go to ESPN CH 140. TIA!

Just tried it on mine and same thing, went to ESPNU - 141
