Wow, #1 OSU vs #4 Penn State is slated for a 11 am central kickoff. Thats unusual for a game of that caliber.
Thats what I thought as well ....

When the Buckeyes go TO Happy Valley every other year, its always a Night game and a White Out.

But when they have 2 of the top 5-6 teams, they decide on Noon ... what gives ?

I find it interesting that the Crowd wears the White shirts, while thier team wears the Dark Blue jerseys ...

The Buckeyes wear White when playing there, thanks for the crowd support PSU fans !

Sorry GoBucks ...
I just got to your post after I posted.

It seems like a lot of OSU games hit that 11am slot.
Is there a reason for that? FOX getting first choice for big 10 games or something similar to the SEC and the 2:30 slot ?
Thats more than likely the reason, FOX is choosing the game times and probably figure, why have the game the same time as the sec night game ... i guess.
That said, they could go to 3:30.

It shouldn't matter. The Buckeyes always get high ratings. They could have made it a night game. LSU/Bama is at 3:30

Yep, this is why.

FOX has taken a new directive with their spotlight games this season by placing the best game the network has to offer in the noon kickoff slot. It has been seen as a pretty rewarding move for the network as the noon time slot has typically been without any real marquee matchups the way the 3:30 p.m ET time slot has been, and of course the primetime lineup.

I mention this because its a big deal for an already big game, but its being reported that the President will be in attendance at the Bama/LSU game.

Just found that interesting, and before it starts, do not make anything political out of it ;)
Never figured him for an Alabama or LSU fan, or college football for that matter.

Oh it will clear itself, I’m just curious how LSU didn’t get the top slot.
Same here, their strength of schedule so far beats anyone else's.

My guess is they're trying to dispel the whole "SEC bias" nonsense, and that they'll be able to put LSU up top when they beat Alabama.

Jimbo looks like the offense is going to have to step up this Saturday. Mr. Young is suspended for the Maryland game for a NCAA violation from last year.:oldmad:oldmad:oldmad:wtfSeems he got a loan from a friend or relative (which he paid back).:facepalm
Offense has to step up ???
They have been winning by 30-40 points in most game ...

They will be fine for the next few games if it amounts to that ... hopefully he's back for the Penn State and Michigan games.

They say more but are appealing it to get it reduced. Looks like they've got the Maryland game in hand so I'm switching to Penn State game.:cheer:cheer
