Do we really not have an NBA thread for this year?

Either way, the NBA has announced the season will restart on July 31st.

Yes and if one player gets the virus it's game over. Season done.o_O:mad:

nope, they're only removing that one player

If a player tests positive for the virus, the league's intent would be to remove that player from the team to quarantine and treat individually -- and continue to test other team members as they play on, sources said.

So you're saying that if LeBron James comes down with it that or any teams star player that they won't cancel the season.
It will for that team, but then again any injury or illness could do that as well.

My point is that the 8-game "season" and playoffs to follow won't be canceled.

The championship this year will definitely have an asterisk. That’s why I wish they would have gone with a March Madness tournament style playoffs. It would have been cool to see a Cinderella team go all the way to win the title. I mean if it’s going to have an asterisk next to it, why not try something different. lol
