11ft Fiberglass Dish - Star View Systems

I haven't had a chance yet to do anything with this dish. I'm hoping to get the hand crank to work again. The pole is still over at my friend's house, in the backyard. I hope to get it soon.

Why do you want to keep the hand crank? Put like a 32 " actuator on it, and either and LNBF or a Bullseye II feed horn.. You get that right that is a HIGH Performance dish.. It would be unreal for KU

Maybe I was being nostalgic... A hand crank would be a lot of trouble. Anyway, I have a mesh SAMI I have been restoring. I haven't done much with this fiberglass except powerwash it. And I accidentally damaged it after I cleaned it... bummer for sure, but where is the wire mesh? I was curious about what size the embedded mesh is but I don't see any.

Maybe there isn't any. Maybe it's a painted on reflective surface.
