NFL 2020

Another week and another nose dive in the ratings. Down 25% in the key demos from last week.
Another week and they still dont get the message. Helmet stickers, kneeling, alternative anthems, hiding in the locker room, offensive commercials and end zone preaching is a middle finger to otherwise supportive fans. The people with the money for tickets and merchandise. Woke = Broke. It's not hard to figure out. Well.... to those with half a brain anyway.

After last weekend NFL games, you heard quite abit of complaining about how poorly the Kickers were last week ....

They must have heard it ... this weekend they have been EXCELLENT ...

Nice little tidbit today in the Buffalo News:

Even if it's only two games into the season and 30 into his NFL career, Josh Allen has put the official "verified" stamp on his status as a franchise quarterback.

There's ample support for this, beginning with the staggering 417 yards and four touchdowns, with no interceptions, that he threw in the Buffalo Bills' 31-28 victory against the Miami Dolphins Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. It came seven days after his first career 300-yard passing game, against the New York Jets.

But the stat that's even better is this: Only four quarterbacks have thrown for 700-plus yards, six-plus touchdowns and zero interceptions in the first two weeks of the season, and Allen is one of them. The others? Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes.

Josh Allen is clearly talented. They way the rushing QB is morphing into a rushing/throwing QB is insane. Still adds the risk of getting injured, but he has definitely been Buffalo's future for over a season now.

Odd, I saw the Patriots play the Seahawks, not a #BLM rally. Maybe I had a different feed of the game.

I thought Jalen Hurts was the steal of the draft QB wise. after it was all about Green Bay drafting a QB. Little about the Eagles. they get better at a lower cost @ QB.
I agree ...
I don't know if Hurts will be a Full time starter in the league or not, but he's better than the guy GB took ....
I was surprised when GB took a QB.

I miss all that. Whatever game I'm going to watch I ask Siri before the game starts what the score is and I miss the national anthem and the other stuff.

That’s what happens when you put the game on 4 networks including free OTA instead of just a subscription channel. Take out the 7.5 million ABC viewers and it’s not so pretty. Take out half of the ABC viewers that might have access to espn and watched there and it’s still a loss to maybe flat.

Just curious: Other than trying to attempt to make your point, what makes you think you can automatically remove the 7.5 million ABC viewers? For example, I didn’t watch the whole game, but what I did watch was on my local ABC OTA for better PQ. Otherwise, I would have watched it on ESPN. I’m sure I’m not alone in that regard.
