I am in a city currently in a dispute, maybe I will call tomorrow or Monday if I have time and see if I can get one sent out ...
I really need them for my HR24's that I still have left. (I know, they won't work)

Any clue, why they made it for only a few recvrs ?
They only included drivers for it with the software for HR44/HR54. It is easy to guess why doesn't work for the H2x/HR2x, they consider those effectively obsolete (and might not have a lot of room in the firmware for adding drivers for something few would use)

The big question in my mind is why not make it work with the HS17? The original "inside" information we got on the LCC before it was released said it would be supported with the HS27. Obviously there's never been an HS27, but there's no reason it couldn't be made to work with the HS17 if they wanted it, unless its USB port is not fully functional for some reason.

I have More HR24's than I do Genies ... while they are old, they don't give me any choice, seeing they won't bring out another recvr to replace it ... not sure what they will do when I need it replaced. (which could be now, I'm guessing they will send another refurbished one out.)

So when I lost NBC I was thinking ok no big deal, the dispute's between DirecTV and Tegna, I can just watch their NBC Sports App cuz it's not their beef.. wrong! Notre Dame and Sunday Night Football are blacked out on the app. How do DirecTV/Tegna have the power to do that???

Dish network is doing the same thing with the NBC app. The Fox app is not updating with the last episode shown live after the dispute. It’s quite frustrating.

Have you tried Peacock app ?

To my surprise my LCC showed up today. That was very fast, thank you ATT. It came with a Wingard flat amplified antenna, coax to usb adapter for the HR44 and two power adapters. I connected it to an existing antenna (Mohu Supreme Pro) with strong signal on all channels but kept receiving a low signal error when it was connected to the LCC.

After several attempts of unplugging the coax adapter from the HR44 I did a red button reset on the HR44. I ran the antenna setup again, this time it took 15 minutes or so but all the channels worked.

That's cool! Did the LCC set-up get rid of any recordings or mess with series recordings? I tried DTV chat again but choose the tech support option. He said he ordered one and it would be 1-2 business days. I ordered one a Saturday. The other reps didn't say 1 to 2 business days. However he never sent the confirmation number he said I would get.

Check your orders on the att page to see of something shows up now.

I could have swore I turned my local CBS (Tegna) channel on about an hour ago and it was working, I just checked again and the banner is up ...
Don't know what happened, unless it actually went to the antenna channel, (doesn't normally do that though).

well, we are a week into the blackout now, what is the record for the longest blackout of TEGNA stations in past TEGNA dispute with AT&T/DirecTV and other providers.

Tried yesterday for the second time with no luck. Below is a portion of how my chat went.
ME : I'd like to see about getting the LCC (local channel connector) since we have lost our local NBC.
Zed : Yes I understand this my friend.
Zed : In some cities around the U.S., Tegna owns some local stations such as CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC, and some others. When agreements for networks are about to expire, AT&T works with the owners (Tegna, in this case) to negotiate renewal agreements. Unfortunately, we are still working with Tegna, the owner of this channel, to secure an agreement. We regret any inconvenience and appreciate our customers' patience while we work this out with Tegna.
Zed : This type of dispute is often resolved quickly, and once the issue is resolve we will notify our customer on the same through your email address.
ME : Yes, is it not possible to get the device that I can use with my antenna to integrate into my DirecTV receiver?
Zed : And we are also provided the credit up to $20 credit for the eligible customers and you can expect this credit in your upcoming bills.
Zed : I wish it can, but unfortunately it is not applicable.

I don't think they want to give me one.

Yeh, I think that is the way I am thinking also. I saw a photo of it and one thing I don't like is that it has two power adapters and one for the LCC and one for the antenna.

You don't need the power adapter for the antenna if you don't use their crappy indoor amplified antenna.

In order to pull in more stations don't you need to use an antenna's amplifier?

It only helps if the amplifier is low noise which I very much doubt this cheapo bundled antenna is, and it would work MUCH better to use an outdoor antenna which wouldn't need to be amplified.
