I have noticed in the last month, maybe longer that on the Joey 3 in our master bedroom that when I use the skip forward/skip back buttons that at least 50% of the time there is a stutter in the audio. It can happen skipping forward or back, and it generally only happens on live material. You have to hit skip forward or back a second time to get the audio back to normal.

Do you get any MOCA warnings. Go into the diagnostics screen and see what your MOCA signal strength is. You might have a cable connection or switch problem.

Thanks for the tip, I had gotten "broadband connection lost" messages, which HipKat had said were not actually issues with the internet connection but MoCa issues. That has not happened for a couple of weeks but the audio issues continue so I guess I will look into that further.

Also, does the audio come from tv's speakers or do you use a soundbar? I never encountered that issue with 2 tvs (connected to Joey2s and Vizio soundbars).

Yeah, when it happens again, go into the diag screen and just check out the MOCA signal levels. If lower than normal, you might have a lose or intermittent coax connector.

Audio goes from Joey 3 into tv HDMI then optical out of the tv to an LG soundbar

Identical setup with one of my tvs. Joey 2 to TV's hdmi, and optical cable between Vizio tv and Vizio soundbar. When I am watching HD station and press 'channel up' button on remote 52, the audio is fine as long as the next station is HD. When I keep pressing 'up' slowly to go to higher channels until I get to first SD station, the audio is cut off on the first SD station! No sound from soundbar at all. Slightly different problem than yours. And I continue pressing 'up'. No sound on consecutive SDs until I get to HD station. Here's the weird thing: If I enter any SD station number on remote, and go there directly, audio is fine!! No idea why.
