They ticked the "10,001-25,000" box for the "Estimated number of creditors" category. Since every subscriber with time left on their subscription is a potential creditor, that may indicate the primary cause of the failure...

If that's the case, how could they possibly owe Viacom $16 million?

They'll owe the inkjet cartridge filling company as a creditor, LOL. Those things are crap, I've never seen a good inkjet printer that lasted long. The cartridges dry up very quickly if not used in a short time period.
Try the Epson eco tank. Had mine over a year and have never added a single drop of ink. The colors still look full and the black is still 2/3 full. More than paid for itself in what I DIDN'T spend on cartridges.

The carts in my Canon last, on the average, 2 years with moderate use but then I don't buy half empty factory carts only after-market carts that are 100% full.

Gives you some idea of just how MUCH the providers charge for their programming, doesn't it? They likely also have to pay, even if they don't have any subscribers, or even a single subscriber.
No wonder subscribers pay these outlandish subscriber fees. Get your magnifying glass and read that bankruptcy filing. You will see how those vultures clean our pockets out every year. Enjoy!

Ink jets with the bulk tanks are cheaper then the laser jets now. I have both by Brother and the newest one - the ink that came with the printer is good for 7,500 pages.

I got one last month at Costco because I was so tired of buying HP cartridges every couple of months. So far I have printed over 200 pages and the ink levels haven't moved. I have two more black ink bottles so it looks like I am good for at least five years!

I agree. I have one sitting on my desk the needs to go to the e-cycle center. I don't really have a need to print anything anymore either. The odd document that comes up can just as easily be printed at work.

How did we go to Orby bankruptcy to ink jet printers???

I logged on and had 17 thingy's on my bell in the right corner and I knew I had either pissed someone off or they liked what I was saying.:) That's the most in one day since I've been on here. I guess someone will come along and say how did we get from Orby bankruptcy to likes and dislikes.:)

How did we get from Orby bankruptcy to likes and dislikes?

Followup question, why did I just type that instead of copy paste?

Did they just not pay anyone for the past year?

Looks like the only ones who got paid was the places they advertised, their employees and installers.
