I see 2 errors on the play....The 3rd baseman played it perfect, that catcher why he floated it, no clue

Someone finally stepped up and did a decent job of pitching ... Wacha look good.
Rest of the Staff is MIA.

I understand your point, but Garrett Whitlock isn’t MIA. In fact, he is far and away the Red Sox best pitcher.

Your right ...
I'm just annoyed ... also, the Red Sox are not the only ones whos pitching has been iffy.

I'm really tired of these managers babying these pitchers ...
If you can't throw more than 6 innings or 60-70 pitches, get out of the way and let those that can, do so.
I'm speaking of most teams, not just the Red Sox.

The Studs out there, you know who were talking about, 8th inning, 9th inning bring it on .... I'm so tired of this, we have to use this guy for this inning and this other guy for that inning, when the starter was doing just fine.

Tampa I'm looking at you, first ... the team that refuses to actually USE a Starter ...

Wasn't long ago that Tampa was in the Playoff and rolling right along, but the manager took the guy out in the 6th inning ... he was Filthy thru 5 or 6 and took him out, probably could have went 8 innings that night ... btw, Tampa lost that game.

Couldn’t agree more. I miss the old days when managers would manage based on the feel of the game. Now everything is based on sabermetrics and computers. I long for the Earl Weaver, Billy Martin and Sparky Anderson days

To be fair, with the short spring training this year I don’t think the pitchers are up to speed yet. I agree that they are still too babied now.

I have a question for you MLB fans.

I have Directv And the MLB Extra Innings package.
I also have 4k from Directv (channels 104-108, not that That part matters) ...
Seeing I have the EI package, I see the Red Sox game is On Directv in 4k tonight (channel 106)

Should I be able to watch this game in 4K, or does that ONLY go to the 2 teams playing areas ?
I would think seeing I pay for the everything portion, I would expect to be able to see it, I Can watch it on the normal feeds on EI as well as the RSN channels, like always.

Watching the White Sox-Red Sox game on Apple TV. All I can say is yikes!!!! It might as well be a Cape Cod League game.

I was going to ask if anyone had any input ...
I'm Not watching tonight .... obviously.

Watching the Tigers and Astros, on the Detroit feed .... its ok, those guys are good to, but I prefer the Stros guys.
Then again, its interesting to see what Other people think of them.

I’m curious to see the premiere of the Sunday morning game on Peacock. This week it will be simulcast on NBC (Sunday 11:30AM ET)
