I'm not sure what you might do with USB and Ethernet ports but at least they had the good sense to provide an HDMI output.

I'm wary of a machine that comes with ZIF sockets for missing chips.

Probably sometime either side of the Commodore PET 2001 models that also featured chiclet keys. At least the TI-99/4a had real keycaps.

Don't get me started on the Atari 400 and Timex Sinclair ZX80 that featured a membrane keyboard.

Not to exclude those under the age of 50, this site speaks to many of the classics (computers that initially used Compact Cassette audio tapes -- including the Apple ][ -- to store and load programs):
