Not sure if this is the right place to post this, if its not the right place, my mod friends - please move for me.

My father in law is looking for a 10 FT BUD.

He is in Florida, near Sarasota, but i bet he is willing to travel 3-4 hours for the right deal (free lol)

If anyone comes across one, please reply.

I told him 10 FT minimum, so that is all we are looking for, and mesh dish only also.

TIA

:)

Late posting, but did he ever get what he needed?

What's still on c-band, particularly at such low power to need 10'?
DVB-S2 8PSK and such needs MUCH more signal to keep locked. As the band shrinks, it'll get worse because they'll likely go to 16 or 32psk, which needs even larger dishes for more signal headroom.

This is true. However, there is still lots to receive using a 7.5' Perfect dish. Don't not get into FTA satellite just because you can't find/afford a 10' or larger dish. C-band ain't dead yet.

No, he has not. The poor guy has had a hard time as of late. About a year ago he was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer, and eventually had to have his bladder and prostrate removed. He is cancer free now. Then, a month ago he had surgery on his wrist where the removed about an inch of the arm bone where it connects to the wrist and then they staple the hand bones to the other arm bone (all to alleviate wrist pain). And he had surgery for carpal tunnel on the other wrist. SO, i dont think he has been looking hard for a C Band dish lately. I know he still talks about getting one, but no idea if he is serious. I will see him in a few weeks and i will ask. In the meantime, if anyone sees one in the Sarasota area, please post!
