Did anybody else notice that court tv has been dropped by Dish? Just in time for our rate increase.

204 COURT MOVED FROM Tp 2 on EchoStar 7 at 119w
TO Tp 21 on EchoStar 8 at 110w.

Scott, in Fla it is no longer on channel 204 & the court tv web site states it has been dropped by Dish. When I tune to 204 I get the biography channel.

Hm... Yeah, it says CourtTV in the guide on 204, but when tuned it has the Biography channel bug. Currently playing 'Murder She Wrote'

Atlanta area /w Top120

Court Tv same as Biography Channel??

Noticed this morning ch. 204 Court Tv has Biography Channel programming the same as ch. 119. Per Scott G. there was a sat change last night in which Court Tv
moved from 119' to 110' W. Now the million $$ question is "where is court tv ch.
204??? Can someone please check.....rolou21.

it happened at midnight last night when I was watching the cops marathon

I guess an increase in price, and a few channels dropped is the perfect gift for paying customers from Dish. Aint that what we wished for?

court tv commercial just on CNN

WOW big news on CNN just now Court TV had a commercial about DISh network customer not having Court TV any more.

From Dish Network Retailer Website

Court TV No Longer Available
Effective January 1, 2007, Court TV ceased providing their programming to DISH Network and it’s customers. DISH Network did not approve of this removal and has been working diligently to work out fair and reasonable terms to continue to carry this programming while not increasing the rates that our customers pay.

It is important to note that DISH Network continues to offer versatile programming within our existing DISH Network packages. Customers tuning in to Court TV on channel 204 will see Biography, normally available in the AT180 package.

Court TV is seeking to impose terms that are unfair to DISH Network and its customers. We are continuing to work diligently to negotiate fair contracts with Court TV, but we must also protect our customers from programmers who seek to impose unfair conditions. For more information, customers can visit www.fairsatellite.com, or call 888-889-4582.

Its always UNFAIR for this renegade company, Echostar. Court was UNFAIR, OLN is UNFAIR, COURT TV is UNFAIR......Damn....its DISH that is UNFAIR.

Wow you are correct, when you mentioned it this morning I checked in my guide and it was still there that added with John H's report that CourTV moved from 119 to 110 had me thinking that it moved.

How so?....I like the fact that E* takes a tough stance on unreasonable per sub increases..I rarely watch Court Tv so I really don't care . I don't want rates going up as much as the next guy..
Yes, E* is raising rates but Time Warner is raising theirs even more..We will be busy for a few weeks installing Dish for pissed off former TW subs....LOL!!

Besides CBS, Court TV is one of my wifes favorite channels.

Luckilly I am having AT&T U-VERSE IPTV installed on Wednesday and CourtTV is still there.

Dish Network has posted the following to its Retailer Website.

The Fairsatellite.com site is not operational and like the DishONLINE website is only a content holder.
