Some HD RSN's Now LIVE!

without reading the entire thread, has anybody posted regarding fsn florida? i ask because i was just at the website looking at upcoming hd games for the fish and it listed dish network channel 373. first hd game is the 10th!!

It is uplinked and on. It's in my guide but there has been nothing on it so far. There is a Devil Rays game tonight at 7:30 and a Marlins game tomorrow night. I'm excited to see what the PQ on these looks like.

And NYC looks on in envy.....C'mon E* throw us a bone!!! I'm a Yankee fan and obviously it's a NO on YES, so I'd be more than glad to have SNY HD in it's place.

We have 2 HD channels for the HD broadcasts of the 2 FSW RSN's. However, so far, the only HD broadcast has been an Angel's game. The Dodger games in Milwaukee were in SD only and the Friday night (4/6) game at San Francisco was broadcast in 16:9 ratio, but it appeared to be in ED (not HD). ED (enhanced definition) is the format used by Fox last year for their regular season Saturday broadcasts.

Does anyone know if the Fox RSN's are broadcasting in HD but Dish is not showing them on their HD channels? These channels do indicate that they are "provided for select High Definition Game coverage."

Is Dish making the selection of which games to provide in HD? Or is FSW just not showing the games in HD?

fsn is not showing them hd- not every game is hd

I just searched the FSN website and found that they are scheduling only 17 baseball games per local team per year in HD. And, apparently, they don't think the NHL is important enough to be shown in HD on the west coast, although several NHL games are in HD in the rest of the country.

It surprised me that there is so little HD content on the RSN's...

Well I don't see the point in these new HD RSN's. I get Fox South. The Braves are playing. But not on the HD Fox South Channel. Just in SD.. Can someone explain why they bothered to give us a HD RSN that doesn't actually show anything..

ESPECIALLY since they didn't turn on my RSN (FSN-North)
Worthless space takers is what it looks like to me.

I have had Fox SW in HD on channel 366 for a week and a half now and have not seen anything on it yet! There have been a total of 2 games with the Rockets playing but they were both blacked out here in Oklahoma City area. ? Huh, I am hundreds of miles away and still blacked out.

So far there has not actually been anything in HD that I could watch on this channel.

On FSN FL 74 Marlins games and 38 Devil Rays games. Sounds like a lot more than 17 to me.

I got the following from the FSN website from their FAQ section:

How many HD games does FSN HD produce for each team?
FSN HD will typically produce at least 10 games per NBA team, 10 games per NHL team, and 17 games per Major League Baseball team.

I couldn't find a comprehensive HD schedule for the two L.A. Fox RSN's, so this is all I have to go by. It does say "at least" so maybe there are more.

The Rockets don't claim the OKC area as home territory, so they'll always be blacked out here on the RSN, but should be available when they're on ESPN-HD or ABC. What we should see is Astros, Rangers, Mavericks, and Stars. I've seen them on the SD channel, so we should see them when there's an FSN SW HD broadcast. AFAIK, the first of those is on May 2 (Rangers/Yankees, 7:05 CDT).
