    A few installation questions

if you have 2 ft of snow, the ground probably isn't froze that deep. I'm told 150 ft is the limit is the limit on cable length. I've gone further. He shouldnt use the C-band wire, the distance can cause problems sometimes, but I know alot of people who do.

What's included with "Standard Professional" install?

There is a fee for phone lines, wall fishing (if it is over 5 ft), mirroring and remotes other than the ones in the box.

    Telephone Dial Tone Generator

Thats why DNS techs wind up going back on retailer jobs and charging back the retailers for reinstalls.

    Question for installers...

I once used an old 111 reciever taped to a 4" Sony tv to get my signal, used it about a week till my new meter came in. A couple of my customers thought I was a genious for coming up with that. and a shiney white van around here usually means a rookie in the seat.

    Birdog trouble

Is this a common problem with these fancier meters? I have a super buddy meter at the shop, I wonder if it would be worth it to try that one.

    Birdog trouble

I had just put that data on the meter for SBS6, so I guess it's logical to say that the data I'm downloading is outdated. So what would be a good bird to shoot that the Dog can catch???? And, why doesn't the Birdog pick up anything from this Invacom lnb?

    Birdog trouble

The battery is low, but I have installed a thousand E* dishs with it. Basicly I picked AMC4, I'll try others later, I used an old D* lnb to aim it the dish changed it over to a Inva..... (can't remember the exact name). I also tried SBS6 but the meter still doesn't show the satallite. are...

    Birdog trouble

I'm having trouble aiming my dish with my Birdog meter. I can get a signal reading but it doesn't recognize the satellite. For that matter I could just use an analog meter to do that. What am I doing wrong?

First Look: DishPro Plus 33 Switch

Perhaps the DPP33 doesn't have a port that can use an FSS LNBF.
