Does it work on non-4K tvs?

They debuted that at CES. I figure it is in response to the fact that most people's portable devices are limited to 16 gb of internal storage. This device allows people to take a lot of contact with them without filling up their ipad.

I would assume they are the same. On one of our Joeys, the wall wart cord was ziptied to the tv mount. The tech unplugged it, plugged the Joey 2 in and we were off to the races.

The only issues I have had are with the Netflix app.

Netflix works on mine...sort of. It is flaky, and is prone to reboots and lockups. My wife isn't happy either. [emoji15]

I have a question for you all. When the tech was at my house installing the H3, he had to replace my 1000.4 antenna for a 1000.2 antenna. When he left, he left the old antenna in my yard. Do I need to do anything with it?

Unfortunately, he took all the equipment with him.

I would think that would be the case for most 2 Hopper people. Scott said that 5% of hopper customers have 2 Hoppers. I would be willing to bet that if they all upgraded to Hopper 3, 95% (or more) of them would opt for a single H3, and a number of Joeys or wireless Joeys. I would also be...

forgive me if this has been asked, but does it have component video outputs? The reason I ask is that my oldest AV receiver does not have HDMI. I know that the Joeys are HDMI or composite only, but I could hook the H3 to that one receiver and run the rest of the house with Joeys.

So, if I remember correctly from the Price Increase thread, a grandfathered hopper is $12 per month, so a person with 2 would pay $24. If a person were to upgrade to the H3 and a joey, he would now pay $22 per month ($15 hopper fee + 7 for a joey), to keep everything equal.

And if you are an existed customer, you are looking at $15+7 vs $12+$12. It would save you $2/month to upgrade to the new machine with 2X the capacity.
