Yes, I made certain that it was plugged into the correct coax.

I just switched to Dish and now I can not figure out how to get OTA digital local channels from my roof top antenna. Before I could just go to channel 3.1 and that worked great. When I scan I get zip. Any ideas? Thanks! Jer

My unit sits on a wood shelf inside a closed wood cabiinet with a large open space in the back. My tuner, DVD player, VHS, sit below it on 3 shelves. I will try and move it around and maybe set it up on something to give it more space. It appears to be drawing air from the vents on the left...

I unplugged the unit for a few hours to let it cool down completely. Plugged it back in and the fan started up immediately and then it shut down after a few minutes. 20 min later it came back on and hasn't turned off since. It IS the fan that is making the rumbling sound. Probably nothing to...

Plenty of ventilation - and the exhaust it pretty cool. :confused:

Is it normal for the fan to run 24/7? Also, it is making a loud rumbling sound that I am certain is not normal. Any ideas?

Called Dish CS, no joy. They said that DN is not responsible for the length of the movie and all PPV is non-refundable. :( Thanks anyways for your help everyone! The movie btw, was Paycheck. So I guess it isn't a big loss! lol

Sorry if this issue has already been discussed, but I could not find my answer directly by searching. I have a 522 with a SuperDish. I live in Kansas. I lose signal everytime it rains here, which lately has been every night it seems. This is why I am even concerned about the "Point Dish"...
