YES! 4DTV on W5 almost certain

During a torrential downpour I had rain fade for a moment on the 410 with a 6' Sami in Little Rock, Arkansas. It looks like I'll be moving the 410 to my Perfect Ten, or converting the 922 on the Perfect Ten, though. :(

    New Rainfade Solution

Well, yes, but we are talking about Star Trek feeds. :)

Yes, what is that? What LNBF is needed and what switches?

Dish NW 110 and 119 Problem in RV

I have a Toroidal dish, LNBs and switches for Dish Network that I haven't gotten to work yet. What switches did you use and how did you configure the receiver to use them? Thanks, Wayne

    Motorola and Lyngsat

Is there a chart that lists the names used by DSR922 and relates them to Lyngsat?

    DBS LNBF on BUD

So the "sweet spot" is not a symetrical area about the feedhorn? Will it be about the X or Y axis? Thanks again.

    DBS LNBF on BUD

I have no luck moving the dish past 110 and 119 with the install screen up on the DN receiver. No indication of any signal strength. Suggestions, anyone?

    DBS LNBF on BUD

It's on the 7' Sami. I could stick another on the Perfect 10, but I don't want my Wife moving away from a feed to watch Animal Planet. :) What kind of switches would I need with two BUDs? How do I find the sats, find one West of 119 and move the dish East while the Dishnetwork receiver is...

    DBS LNBF on BUD

I bought a BUD feedhorn with DBS LNBF mounted on the scalar ring. Any advice on using it with my Dishnetwork receiver would be appreciated. Does the dish need to move between 110 and 119, or can the LNBF see both from a BUD pointing between them? Thanks, Wayne

4DTV DSR 922 with MPEG-2 decompression capability built in

I do that with an analog C Band and MPEG-2. The C Band controls the servo and polarity. Is there any reason you can't ground the servo to both receivers and use a DPDT toggle to switch control of polarity between receivers?
