    I just edit everything and then 'manually' change to USALS on the STB for each bird. I know it is cumbersome, but I think this is the only way to do it.

    Looks like you can't edit if the satellite is using USALS.

    I left everything as-is. I parked the dish at my true-south (95 degrees) and hoped for the best. the other item is that my pole is cemented and mounted on the South-West corner of the house.

    just got the internet back.. we had some heavy rain the day after Ike and it killed the net and my VoIP. I am lucky that I did not need tarps. I just lost a bunch of flaps. To cool think if my FTA Ku setup keep its arc!

    Well I just checked and I have the upper and lower set for "universal" and LNB frequency is 9750 - 10750. Is there a section to change the LO ? I am assuming that if I did have it set correctly to begin with, then I wouldn't get a signal. any other ideas?

    Coolsat 8000's going fairly cheap on ebay. Been away from FTA section for a while.

    Is there a trick to find the Video and Audio PIDs and other items on the Visionsat? I an using it to blind scan and then use my Linux VLC system to show them on my computer. It seems I can only find the frequency V/H and SR.
