I have been thinking the exact same thing. It would really nice to have since it would use existing wiring. I doubt the Dish DVR designers haven't thought of this. Hopefully it's just a matter of time and not legal issues... -GunnerJoe

You're not talking about the OTA loss of signal message, are you? I have only seen a full solid yellow screen (sometimes white or green) when loading an "Enhanced TV" interactive app, like when pressing Select while watching the Weather Channel. I don't think I've ever seen a yellow screen...
