No you can't use a diplexer for that. You can bring an OTA signal into the house using a diplexer though. I grounded the second line mostly becasue I have the OTA antenna "diplexed" into that line.

When I had the 811 installed he had to replace the LNB and run another cable into the house so that I could have two recievers on the same TV.

question: Even if we get Fox-HD I'm assuming our local football games will be blacked out right?

I'd like to do the same... I've got a 510 and the 811 on the same TV. When I asked the CSR she said I couldn't for some reason I can't remember... Maybe someone else has more info?

I guess I'm confused... why are you going to lease the 811 if you already have it??

I watched the Seahawks game here in the Seattle area... The picture looked great and the audio was good too... that is untill I started have reception problems in the 2nd half. I'm not sure what that was all about.

I had a timer setup on my new 510 (I've had it for less than a week) to record a show last night. I was watching a previously recorded program when the little clock in bottom left corner started flashing. I hit the "stop" button to stop the program I was watching and turned the receiver off...

Thats funny because my 811 seems to be locking much easier than before. I've been pretty happy with it.

Why can't they display some sort of "screen saver" like Windows media Player? White floating text is lame.

I got home this afternoon and everything seems to be working fine... I didn't reset it or anything... Maybe it was just wanting to sleep last night and dream about the Sound of Music... :)

Last night, before going to bed, my 811 wouldn't turn on. The romote wouldn't turn it on, and niether would the front panel power button. I wasn't able to look at it much last night... and I'll have to wait until I get home to unplug it to see if that works... Could it be dead?? :no
