I would sure put this to use fixing my "spaghetti nightmare".

This one is supposedly only 1 year old and I can get the whole setup for only $10, so I thought it might be worth a shot for that price as a fixed dish on like G18.

Has anyone tried to use a Wild Blue Dish for recieving FTA, Is it large enough or able to be modified easily hold a standard ku/LNB.?

We've got a lot of craigslister folks here just flat out advertising the theft of signal as Free to Air. Does anyone have just an eloquent paragraph describing the difference between real FTA and stealing it. Something we could just copy and paste in an ad to clarify the difference to anyone...

A motor is absolutely needed, It's much easier than climbing on the roof to rotate manually. It also cuts down on the amount of dishes hanging on the House. Just a great thing to have all around

I used a pic from Saddun's site as an idea to make my platform for my dish and there is probably room for another one.

Yes, This 3000 is kinda buggy, the video goes out if you touch the back panel, and the out coax doesnt seem to output, only through the rca connections. And this was New in the Box. It is lightning fast on channels and seems to get way better quality strength than the Pansat on the second feed...

Pansat firmware can be gotten from their download site. http://www.pansatusa.com/download.htm They only have the most current version on their site, so I always keep my older versions in case something is buggy.

I keep my motored 90cm on G-10 mostly also. I go up north today to pick up my c/ku Bud. That one will stay pointed to G-10 instead and the 90cm will be back to work full time scanning the skies. Can't beat Hogan's 3 times a day.

Sure, there were a few old movie channels and 50's tv shows, public access and stuff like that, and webcams/casts at the bottom. Good for putzing around on. I just copy and paste right into Media player.
