I noticed this problem today when trying to watch World Cup. When I push the swap button the DVR shuts down and resets itself. This is a slow process the fan comes on for about 2 min, then it restarts and re-aquires the transponders. Anyone else seeing this problem?

Had a Dish 1000 installed last tuesday. Getting about a 50-60 on the 129 sat. Called dish and they are sending someone out to peak my dish this weekend. But it looks like all I can hope for is about a 10 point improvement. Signal quality seems pretty good but I haven't had that long to watch...

I am able to plug a USB drive in and copy photos off of it. I don;t think there is any "unplug USB" option for that. Saving the files to the USB device should be no different. I suspect the real worry is it lets us take the Dish files off of our DVR and save the raw files to our PC. And...

Hey I figured for $10 i'd take my digital camera and upload something to the ftp. But yea all the videos they showed looked DISH produced. Which makes me wonder if anyone won their promotion. And if no one won then thats kinda a bate and switch isnt it?
