    I vote to try also, had my father call in on the deal (7 month subscriber) & they gave it to him. Installer coming Saturday afternoon with the HD Tivo.

    Have you verified there is no output on the DVI ? I have the HTL-HD also, and it shows RGB on my front panel, but output's fine on the DVI port.

    I can live with the fact that the channels aren't available anymore, if that is actually the case. I visit this and other forums regularly and have seen nothing of this, so i am skeptical of the CSR's information. Thanks for checking!
