Wow, I was fine with the 811 as a SD receiver, but DISH shut it down, when I called, they said it needed to be swapped with a 211. So, I complied.

FYI Great post, but I have had them send equipt. to my mailing address vs. the service or "moved" to address with no problem. One time the screwed up and sent it to the "move" address, but UPS called me and I got them to send it.

HBO seems to be the best. Good sports like boxing. Starz has lots of HD also. As previously said, get them for 3 months free and decide for yourself, its a matter of opinion.

Occasionally, but rarely, the csr will forget to delete access to the locals in the old address, but don't count on it.

You should be able to do it through csr on line chat, as long as you meet the requirements, set up to auto pay your bill first.

me also, I agree its not worth $10, when for that money you can get a premium channel package.

Since you are not really moving, just "moving". You already have the equipment installed. As Iceberg says, SF locals are on the National Beam (CONUS) right now so you don't need to worry about Spotbeams at this point. Also, you can do this online-csr, vs phone call (its easier and less tense)...
