    Did they just take another channel away?

    We used to have NFL Network on this tier, I think we have Top 100, it went away about a year ago. Now, DIY network is gone. When did they do this? I am tired of them randomly moving programming to higher tiers. We are moving next month and I guess we will get Uverse now.

    Discovery HD

    It doesn't look that great to me. Mythbusters and Survivor Man are blatant Zoom-In's on a 4:3 source and it looks like crap. They credits are even cutoff at the end of Mythbusters.

    Lots of channels....ESPN/ESPN 2, NFL Network HD, HBO to name a couple.

    Came back for HD

    I had Comcast, and then Time Warner, when they took over my area (DFW). Time Warner took NFL Network, threatened to take the local Fox affiliate away, and threatened some other channels. I got fed up.

    I have found TNT-HD almost unwatchable, except for NBA games. The way they stretch it makes me dizzy!

    That is a shame. I would watch more basketball and baseball if it was in HD. With such long seasons, I would rather not watch the SD crap and just wait till TNT and NBC show the playoffs in HD.

    Picture Quality

    After having dish for 1 week now, I can see that it mostly occurs on "regular" channels, like TBS, MTV, etc... The compression is much better on HBO and MAX. I guess they save the good bandwidth for thier premi channels.
