    EHD Transfer menu 722k

    How am I supposed to get into the transfer menu on the 722k? It seems to only come up if I use the help menu then cancel, but I have to do that a couple of times. It's not very intuitive, and I was just curious to what I am supposed to press on my regular remote so I can program my harmony...

    Extended my 625 TV2 by a LONG ways.

    I paid $4 for the antenna and it's completely hidden.... I already use my coax to wedge in OTA TV, so without running another coax I couldn't do the antenna move with the little antenna. An old set of Rabbit Ears with a UHF loop would work too.

    I got tired of dismal performance of my 625 TV2 remote.... I bought one of those ebay HDTV antennas and put on my receiver. Now my remote works from across the house, across the yard, and down my driveway.... Just an idea for those with garbage UHF remote range.

    You can use any router monitoring software.... I use WallWatcher to monitor 3 routers and a dedicated firewall box.

    it doesn't matter. buy what you want. It's close enough. The manufacturers measure it all with different meters, so it's all relative. You're not gonna be able to aim the dish precise enough to worry about that minute focal length difference to matter.

    you need a 22k switch unless you wanna get like 1/2 of satellites (either H or V)

    Dish Antenna DIY question

    I think his sunbrella mount is a good idea, he just needs a straight pipe..... It's the same as a chain link fence post, hardware store, $4. Cut yourself off about a 1.5' piece and do the same thing you have there. Leave the skew and elevation alone and rotate until you get the best signal...

    I like my Mercury II, You also have a multi satellite scan that will move your dish to all the programmed satellites and blind scan them. Very slick.
