Hold up, are you sure you can actually receive the Scranton locals, our is Dish just telling you that you should be able to? Many of us IN the Scranton DMA do not get our locals in HD, so you should double check your signal strengths to make sure you can actually pick them up before you switch...

+1 Dish is clueless about this "30 inch dish" and it looks like the only people that have one is Hans Cedardale - and I didn't buy from them either. I bought directly from Dish Networks website.

As I previously said, I was told that "30 inch dish" would be allow me to finally receive my locals in HD. So I call Dish, and set up an appt for today from 12 - 5pm. Cool! I was out in the morning, and figures the installer comes around 10 or 11 when I was not there. Left a note with his phone...

So two satellites and an antenna can be sent over just ONE cable? Cool! Thats two INS and one OUT. Could this be used to combine the TV2 output + RF antenna input for the remotes, along with an OTA antenna input?

As we all know, the HD locals are STILL not working. However, has anyone been having problems with the SD locals? The picture quality on ABC is worse then youtube, and at about 9pm today, FOX was having some terrible picture breakups and pixelation...Not even watchable. However, this weekend...

Yep, just like my HD locals. (link) They've had them now for over a year, but 98% of people can't get them because of their spotbeam not covering the whole DMA. Every time I call and complain they say that they will fix it "SOON!"

Yes, I'm in williamsport, and I get the Scranton locals. However, I am outside of the beam, so I only get the SD. And why are Texas HD locals listed? I don't know, that's why I took a screenshot and asked! They only come up though the remote access online, not on my TV.

I don't get them on my guide either. and nope I can't watch them. Maybe someone with a sling setup could try that?

Anyone use the remote scheduling feature? Look what I noticed in the channel list:

I finally was able to log in to the dish remote access page and secudled a few "test" timers just to see if it would work. Here are the results: (take notice to the funny icon to the left of the timer (TV1 or 2?) and also, look at the blank dates!) Any ideas? Regards, Scott
