To "standardize" some things:
You are staying with DirecTV for what ever reason, and don't care about...
For your #1; The current SLIP implementation is it. They are not going to introduce a "jump" skip, like the DTivos. Right now the 30s takes about 2 s to go it's 30s lenght.
#2; Possible but it is not yet officially being worked
#3; Yes Networking is in the plans...; but don't count on the...
DirecTV has put the latest versions for the R15 out there.
Only available via Forced Update.
And shoudl be considered "release candidates"...
As until they start to push it out automatically...

Try in the Guide, to hit the R button the the listing for the show, on the specific channel you want.
The HR20, is channel specifici in it's series link settings.
You left a key part of that out.
I did confirm, that is what the CSRs where told.
However, I have not confirmed if what they where told was correct or not.
As far as I know... I have never seen an article or announcement of an HD version of the Superstation.
Other then the Cubs/Sox/Bulls games that they carry... the rest of their HD content is under the CW affiliate, which is not part of the superstation.
Jimbos... as far as I know, no.. they don't have an MPEG-4 test channel.
As right now, I don't think they have the ability on the current Ka Sats to send a CONUS signal.

You may have to "edit" your favorites lists to see the channel, as it is not automatically added to your favorite lists.
0xF6 was replaced by 0xFA this morning.
