LOL, you're exactly right. I see this a lot as an iOS Dev. Non-Dev's get a hold of iOS beta's and expect it to be perfect. They just don't get the fact that the purpose of 'Beta' or 'CE' software is to test it, find and report the bugs. You will have issues with betas its a given! Thats the purpose.

DL was complete, channel banner popped up then froze. The other one is 'Downloading addl software' about 4-5 min now.

Success on one, the other is stuck on a black screen with channel banner(HR24-200's). Unit appears froze. I'll give it a bit and reboot.

Thats not totally correct. You can force the NR at just about anytime. Only the CE's have special days and times. @Overdcoat When a new update rolls out, it's my understanding its rolled out one section of the country at a time. Your receiver will automatically get those as they are released...

Last night I was at a friends house while she had D* hooked up. They installed 2 HR21-700's. They are painfully slow compared to my HR24's. I switched to RF, turned native & scrolling effects off, and still......turtle speed. I was surprised they are still installing those.

Well, had to revert to natl. on my BR HR24-200. The receiver was constantly rebooting. Not even able to send a report. All seems fine now that the natl version is back on it.

Noticing VERY slow remote response with this CE. The HR24 is usually very good compared to other receivers, but since this CE, its like I am back on a HR21. Seeing it on both my HR24-200's one is IR, one RF.
