Positioning of dielectric plate within C Band Lnb for SES 6

I noticed today that I am able to receive the RT channel on SES 6 when the dielectric plate is placed in one of the two possible slots on my ESX241 LNB. If I move the dielectric plate to the opposite slot I am no longer able to receive the RT channel, however, I am able to receive a different...

    Switch help needed

Thanks, I did follow Magic Static's recommendations and I was able to view KU high band frequencies as well as all of my c-band channels. I do want the KU low band frequencies so I will be in the market of buying a new uncommitted diseqc switch. Thanks for all the help!

For my receiver, the instruction manual indicates that if a univeral LNBF is used, the 22KHz switch setting will be automatically set to AUTO - I don't believe I can alter this setting.

    Switch help needed

I installed an Ecoda 2-1 Sw22 22KHz directly to the output of my geosat pro hd receiver. My c-band dish is connected directly to one of the LNB outputs of the Ecoda switch. The other output of the Ecoda switch feeds my KU dish motor. The motor is connector to a 4x1 diseqc switch which feeds...

    Switch help needed

I did consider that option. The distance between the BUD and KU dishes is ~ 100ft. The distance from my receiver to the KU dish is ~90ft. I do not want to dig up the lawn (100 ft) to run the cable between the 2 dishes. Also, I wasn't sure whether the distance of the cable run thru the diseqc...

I guess I am confused on how I would switch between the lnbs installed on the KU dish (4x1 diseqc) via the 8X1 diseqc?

    Switch help needed

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I am not clear on your recommended setup. From ny receiver I would connect to an 8X1 dieseqc 1.1 switch. Then one of the outputs of this switch would feed to the motor on the KU dish and another output to the fixed c-band dish? Is this correct?

    Switch help needed

I recently installed a c-band prime focus dish. I also have a motorized KU dish which is approximately 100ft away from the c-band dish. The motorized KU satellite has 2 lnbs connected to a diseqc switch. My question is as follows: Is there a switch I can add to my system which will allow me...

6 ft c-band dish for NSS 806 (40.5W). Will I be able to receive signals in the Boston,Mass area?

Some success. I was able to pull in a few channels on tp 4021 L and MTV Brasil in the clear. I am using a WS 6096 meter which has a small display so I am able to see the channels. My Q signal level is only in the 40s. I guess I will need to spend some time adjusting the satellite.

6 ft c-band dish for NSS 806 (40.5W). Will I be able to receive signals in the Boston,Mass area?

I have two questions : Regarding the dish elevation. Using dishpointer (website) I found that the elevation for my dish should be 31.8 for NSS 806. I have an inclinometer, I mounted the inclinometer as depicted in the attached photo. The inclinometer is parallel to the surface of the...

6 ft c-band dish for NSS 806 (40.5W). Will I be able to receive signals in the Boston,Mass area?

Yes, I have installed a motorized KU dish before. I probably will need to read up on how to set the dish elevation. Unlike my KU setup, the c-band dish does not appear to have an elevation scale on its mount.

6 ft c-band dish for NSS 806 (40.5W). Will I be able to receive signals in the Boston,Mass area?

I am hoping to install 6 ft c-band dish to receive signals from NSS 806 satelite located at (40.5W). If I am reading the lyngsat footprint correctly it seems that I should be able to receive signals from this satellite. Does anyone know whether a 6ft dish will suffice for the Boston...

GEOSATpro Unable to transition motor to 15.0W

I replaced the micro hd with my old coolsat 5000 receiver. With the coolsat receiver installed I was able to transition to 15.0W using USALS and scan in some transponders. It appears that my problem is some how associated with the micro hd receiver. I am considering doing a factory reset on...

GEOSATpro Unable to transition motor to 15.0W

I was able to move the dish to 15.0W using the manual drive buttons located on the motor. I then was successful in scanning in some 15.0 W transponders. I then moved the dish to 30.0 W using the receiver and observed the Cubavision channel. Lastly, I tried to move the dish to 15.0 W using...

Small break through. I was finally able to receive COZY TV channel via the 103.0 W satellite. Unfortunately my signal quality is low and it fluctuates between 40 - 55 on my micro HD. The result is video pixellation issues. My 2nd lnb is currently mounted to the left of my primary lnb - when...
