Well I finally answered one of the calls in hopes of getting him off my back. Turns out he was a Direct TV reseller too and wanted me to "save money" by switching. I told him not to call anymore.

Are new releases generally available in the DVD by mail at the same time they show up in PPV or VOD? Or is there a lag between the time a new release is on PPV and when it comes available in the mail?

Is the video going to be a direct digital feed from the 722k, or will the sling adapter compress the crap out of it like it does to send video over the internet? IMHO no point in streaming "HD" to a $2000 TV if it is compressed anymore than Dish already compresses it.
