man thats so weak. im really sick of these 622s dying on me. Went through 3 when i first got it before I got one that worked....which lasted all of 6 months or so

So my 622 just crapped out. Turned off the other night while i was watching a show, then the fan came on really loud for like 5 minutes, then it went silent for 5 minutes (lights off) and then 5 minutes later (all estimates) it came back on and acquired signal and worked for about 10 minutes...

receiver just rebooted itself....i assume. may have turned itself off (hasnt come back just yet) what a POS. only problems i ever had with my 502 for 4 years were with software bugs.

what is E*? I see that referenced all over on here...im assuming it refers to dish network? DN might have the largest quantity of HD channels but that doesnt mean its the best offering IMO. I, and im sure thousands of others fall into this category, already have a lineup of shows that I enjoy...

I am near Hartford CT. I can get their HD programming but its a pretty weak lineup IMO without locals in HD. Also they dont broadcast NESN (red sox network) in HD. So that means I cant watch my sox, or any football in HD except for the occasional, off hours, obscure, weak matchup game on...
