Hi, question about dish install. Can it be installed onto stucco (brick behind)? My only other choice is to install on roof but I worry that maybe I will have water leakage problems in the future. Your advice is appreciated.

My signal stats: Satellite 119 TP21 = 36 Satellite 119 TP14 = 16 Satellite 119 TP15 = 38 Satellite 119 TP16 = 27 Considering 2 channels are still coming through from satellite 118, doesn't this mean my LNB is working fine and line of sight is the issue? Or could it still be the LNB?

Question, I have about 13 ethnic channels in my programming from satellite 118 but only 2 are coming through, the rest say something to the effect of 'signal loss issues'. Also, there is a tree he claims is slightly in the way of satellite 129 resulting in some of my HD channels not coming...

If I remember correctly there are 2 channels the VIP722k sends out an analog feed to. I believe it was channel 73 that outputs the tuner 2 feed & I cannot recall what channel (maybe 76) that feeds out tuner 1 on the 2nd TV. Check your settings to see what analog channels are set to feed out...

Ok without internet I lose all Dish's On Demand features, but what else will I lose out on that seems to be 'very nice' to have?

Can I use my existing Western Arc dish with a Hopper & 3 Joeys? Do I use my same 4x4 multiswitch or do I change over to a solo node with a 3-way splitter? Also, does the Hopper have to have an internet connection or can I use whole home DVR without it?

My 722k's been freezing up & rebooting quite often over the past few months, I finally got a 'hard drive failure' message on the screen today. Does anyone know where I can simply get a replacement hard drive? I'd rather just swap it than get a whole new receiver, seems more cost effective.

My 722k has been acting up for the past 2 months. Every now & then when I play a DVR event it'll freeze in the middle of a program, then automatically go through the rebooting process. Any idea why this is happening? Was beginning to think I had a bad receiver until I read your post.

For some strange reason when playing back a recording of 'The Celebrity Apprentice' on NBC my DVR begins to freeze up then goes through the rebooting process. 2 weeks in a row now, problem only occurs w/this show. Any idea why? I can never watch a complete episode :confused:

If I were to plug in my DirecTV system's coax out into my 722's OTA input, will all my DirecTV channels then appear on my Dish Receiver guide? Wondering if this will work because i know the 722's OTA tuner only scans OTA HD channels. :popcorn

I deleted all my OTA channels & the dreaded blue screen has never returned :). I think you're right about the tuner 'cause when I was upstairs I think I seen my TV2 tuner on an OTA channel. That may have been causing the problem. I'm gonna rescan/readd my OTA channels & see of the problem...

That would mean that this problem is only occurring w/customers that have an OTA connected to their 722, is that the case? I will delete some of my OTA channels that don't have a reliable signal, if that doesn't do the trick i'll completely remove my OTA module and see if the issue is...

Some of my OTA channels constantly lose signal, I guess my antenna is not very good. But this is happening w/Dish Network subscription channels, that's where my problem is

Watching TV this morning after a few minutes I get that 'partial / complete signal loss' blue screen on any channel. After pressing the 'dvr' or 'guide' I am immediately able to view my channel, so there is obviously no true signal issue. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks.
