I have resorted to outputting the audio via good old RCA connections and switching the input on the audio receiver when watching ESPN2. I miss the 5.1 but at least I can hear everything during the races. I hope Dish gets their act together about this.

I think it's actually getting worse. During the race on Saturday the audio was out for over a minute at one point. I'm also getting it from 129.

I am running the optical cable directly from the 211 to my audio receiver (Yamaha RX-V650). I've changed the input and the cable and the problem does not go away, so it is definitely a Dish/ESPN2/digital audio problem.

I'm having the same problem here too. Glad I didn't go buy new cables. I also have some audio drops on other digital audio channels but ESPN2 is by far the worst. I have the 211.

I've done a quick comparison of E* vs OTA. Overall the PQ is very good. If anything the E* signal is a bit softer but not really a noticeable difference. I was very pleasantly surprised. THis is for the three we are getting. In addition DD 5.1 is also being passed through.

Perhaps some messages to Gannett might be in order. Anyone in Denver confirm the three others are available? I'll find out tonight but was wondering....and if they are how is the PQ?

I'm using compnent as well. I haven't had the problem since Sunday (during the game of course). I watched all OTA last evening (about 2-3 hours) and no problem. For me it almost seemed that when I started to lose the OTA signal the screen would freeze and then no picture. Audio was unaffected...

When I originally ordered the upgrade they were to send the 211 direct to me and I had that changed to installer delivery. Well, last evening there is a new 211 waiting for me. My account is showing two $49 charges. I don't think I can sell it since it's a leased unit. I don't have a 2nd HDTV...

Now the reboot is not bringing the picture back. I was hoping the 211 rollout would not be a repeat of the 811 but it looks like there are problems.

One other thing. I didn't have to trade my 811...a 301 will do. At the end of the conversation she said "if I decided to send the 301 back" here's an RA number. I took that to mean the swap is not mandatory.....

I have a Dish Pro set up. Is it because Voom isn't "offically" on 129 and that's why they need to think your at 61.5? Sorry if this is another post but I can't get through all of them in one afternoon :D

I would also like to move my 148 dish to 129 to get Voom. Is there a link to any instructions on how to do this? Specifically what has to be done at the receiver after getting the dish pointed. I have an 811 receiver and two 301s. Also is it for sure you have to tell them you're pointed at 61.5?

The problem has been resolved if anyone is interested. After a huge problem getting the tech out to my house (he never received the work order), he proceeded to do a check switch, jiggled the cables and everything came up. I stood there dumbfounded. I had just tried a check switch that morning...

The plot thickens a bit. Lat night I was able to get a completed check switch using a 301 on that line. Still nothing with the 811. Knowing my luck both the 811 and SW64 need replacing. I'll post back here after they (hopefully) fix the problem tomorrow.

Well, I did as suggested. Now when the 811 boots it tries to aquire the "default" satellite then 105. Of course it never gets anywhere. Check switch give no sat found. The 301s are fine. I guess I'll have to wait until the service comes Saturday. Unless there are more suggestions?

I did try changing the cable to a different port and had the same problem. I'll try your suggestion. Thanks for the reply..
