Roni, Depends on your needs - for a simple single unit Microyal is my favorite, I have a 900 and love it. For motorized systems you have a lot of options - I use a Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra and I like it, but will be looking soon to upgrade.

You can test the motor for movement - but I doubt that you would have any difficutlies with the motor.

Could be - but the dish does move - very iteresting, as I said I get high quality but nothing, I do get the id of the encrypted channels when I go to Echo 7 or any of the Echo sats - and sometimes a card stating "Congrdualtions you have aimed your super dish correctly"

I agree with rjc - I think that it will not make a difference, also at some point this encryption will also get defeated - there is nothing that can not be - I have spend may years in the computer security arena and there is no such thing as a secure program.

I found it pretty useless - I did buy one - I ended up using the quality meter on my receiver to find teh birds - much more reliable and if oyur set up is good takes no time.
