    Looks like Dish has a issue on their hands. The most recent explaination from their tech staff was RFI possibly caused by CB/Amateur/Business radio or CELL tower.     Come on Guys, got any suggestions? The current cause suggested by Dish Techs relates to "Bounce signal" created by a near by Cell tower?? There is no cell tower near this customer's home?????? So far all suggestions have been done with no change in operation.

    If you could identify the tsps that are involved in your situation, either reply with the channel number or look at the POINT DISH and signal screen while on that channel to identify the sat and tsp. We will compare your issue to see if there is a relationship.

    Move from EA 1000.4 dish to 110/119/129

    You should see no problems if you move to WA from EA. Just install the 1000.2 and perform a check switch test. Depending on where you decide to relocate, your local availability may be different. Some of the locals are not on both EA & WA. The site location will be the factor to contend with.

    Vip 612 HD Solo/Dish 500 installation

    The best thing to do is purchase a 1000.2 Dish designed to receive 110/119/129. This antenna will operate the 612 using 1 cable. The least you might do is purchase a DPP Twin LNB to install on your Dish 500.....BUT...you will not have very many of the HD services that your basic pack provides...
