My dish is a prodelin. Too heavy to run on my sg2100 i think. So stationary it shall be. I read someones post a while back about taping a socket to ghe scalar at 3 o clock...maybe try that for fun. Thats mainly why im trying this....for fun.

I am using a 1 meter prodelin fiberglass dish i picked up for free before xmas. Its a nice unit. Bloody heavy! Also using a dmsi bcs lnb just the single one that looks like a big tube. No conical scalar yet but am planning on ordering one.

Where are the PR stations located? I will attempt 99....just need to find the best focal point on my prodelin

Valuable on ebay as its very expensive to purchase one of those new. You may want to try and hook it up to a pci card and see if you can find any KA feeds. Make sure you hook up to the RX side of things.

I am in Thunder Bay... Looks like it is a signal problem, as Globecast is having issues now. We had some strong winds on the weekend. Remnants of that hurricane. I think it blew the dish out. I am going to pull the dish and remount. I think my screws are no good. Will use 1/4" lag bolts...

Yes the channels scan in, but cant view them. They look like lines almost like they are scrambled. Signal is fine, as they work on the PCI card. A little low (68-70) though. I am in Northwestern Ontario.

History and Bio come in just fine on the pci card, same dish, same lnb and motor. It's a 39" with universal lnb. All the other channels come in on the bird. Must be firmware issue on the coolsat. Will try flashing to factory and let you guys know what happens. Thanks for all the advice. *edit...
