Checked our software version and it is L725 .... for what it's worth.....

We have a 722 and about once a week, the sound goes out completely and we have to reset the receiver in order to get the sound back. Is this a known issue that may be caused from firmware update? or is this a sign that our receiver is possibly in need of replacing?

Here in Indiana, we had the HD channels back when I got up this morning. Then, I left the room and when I came back, they are gone again. Hmmm.... still having troubles?

Noticing that we did not have the free Starz channels, I got on the cs chat and was told that because our account was bundled with AT&T, we were not able to get the promotion. Can anyone confirm this? or is it a case of csr roulette? Thanks!

Came home tonight to a warning on our screen that "the contents of our hard drive has become corrupt. All recordings will be deleted." and some other info that I don't remember. :rant: I'm irritated beyond belief. Anyone know what would cause this to happen?

we'll see with next month's billing... but went without a hitch through on line chat. We had the platinum still on the account but they gave no hassle. The rep said " I see you are wanting to get the Platinum pkg. for free? I'll take care of that for you"

hmmm... with all that being said... when I get the replacement unit, can I just send that same one back to them? I thought about the external hard drive option, but think the $40 activation fee is crazy... but, am still considering it. Thanks for all the info guys.

Ended up contacting tech support through online chat....they had me do a few things and determined that I needed a replacement. Hate losing all the recorded programs, but, be better than having the faulty equipment.

I, too, have my service bundled with AT&T services...and am happily using the sling guide. I signed up for it on the sling guide website while it was still in beta... is it no longer able to be done that way?

I'll try to keep this as brief and descriptive as possible...here's the deal.... it seems that with anytime I pause a program that I'm watching in real time and then go back to play, the dvr won't pick up at the paused spot, but rather, it will go directly to "live tv" ... also, when watching...

dvr advantage w/at250 + hd + plat.... never got BET HD - and FX and Speed weren't coming today.... of course, CSRs knew nothing about FX / Speed / LOGO etc.... knowing this, I was able to use BET HD as my reason for needing a re-hit. Only took 12 minutes on the phone and voila! All new...

Any announcement of additional national HD - FX in particular, as well as the addition of LOGO... I was really hoping when the Viacom HDs came online, we would have gotten LOGO - yes, it's an SD channel, but it would make some of us very happy.

Can't wait to get home from work tonight and check out our Indy locals! Woohoo! Not having NBC kind of sucks, but, hey..... not going to complain. I'm happy!:tux:

I believe they were moved there last week, however, they're still not available to subs.... just uplinked, not turned on. We're just sitting...and waiting....again...to see if they actually get turned on this time.:hungry:

Taking it with a grain of salt, I was told we'd have the Indy HD locals by the end of the 1st quarter of '09 .... I'm hoping that's true. Of course, they've been uplinked before and here we are still without them, so who knows.

our 42LG50, LG 42" lcd worked flawlessly with the 1080p vod of I Am Legend. We watched it last weekend without a hitch. Beautiful!

Perhaps it's an Indiana thing because my Encore HD looks fantastic here, too. ..... now if only we would get our Indy locals in HD.

I would love to have this channel as well and have been hoping that Dish would add it to the lineup. I know we're opening a can of worms with this thread, but, it's no different than the people that were vocal about wanting their sports channels or USA and Sci-fi HD. Everyone has their own...

Have had the update for a couple days here. Could be my imagination, but, seems like the pq on the SD channels has degraded somewhat. Other than that, no issues.
