Yup. I miss my Voom as well. I have been relegated to OTA via the Voom STB because we get our cable for free from the HOA and it is DISH fed through the cable network. I just can't rationalize paying for all the other DISH programming I get for free just to have more HD.

Seems to me that it would be more cost effective for them to save the money on the tech and just eat the price of the equipment.

Hey John317, Welcome to the Satelliteguys.us Voom forum. For some inexplicable reason this has been Vooms policy from day one.

I am thinking that IF this were to occur, Voom as we know it is gone. In it's place is only the HD channels without SD counterparts, they would be covered on the existing E* Tp's. That way all of Voom's TP's could be used to maximize the bandwidth given to each HD channel. I know I would be more...

Damn Darrell, if you see noise on those channels I am glad I only have a 56" RPTV.
