then if it isn't the dish or the wires or install then why did this not happen until they put the second dish up and Why is it happening on a brand new r-10 dvr and on both types of tv's? this is why i am questioning this? I want to get to the bottom of things guys, I want to fix this issue...

the colors look great most of the time....but then it does this say in a dark scene or like you saw on a commercial or what have you

i would consider anything that ould help my picture, but would i be able to use tivo

but a kink in the wires would a bad compression

i think it is a wiring issue as they have never rewired,and i have a new receiver and tv

just to let eeryone know these are pics from my $188.00 Apex tv from Walmart. I have to hookup the Aquas today and take some daytime pics of the install so that you all can see that. I also will take some pictures of the screen on the Aquas.

Just to let all know that the above pics are from the $188.00 Apex TV from Walmart. I have yet to put up the Aquas pics cause I have to hook it all back up again today. Also this is hooked up with av cables right to the tv.

there are clouds of green in the background, all the connections are correct....i am trying it all....

when you go into the picture menu on the aquas, all you get is the menu for contrast, color, sharpness, backlight....I cannot find an option for resolution....How do i take a picture of the tv screen so that all can see this problem?

could it be the compression connectors or what have you at the end of each line?

guys it is happening on both tv's I did that, I went to Walmart and bought a tv and the picture was doing the same thing...I swear to you. The tech that came out saw the problem and when we hooked up the other it was there as well....he was at a loss.

Hdmi? Stev What is that...I tried a new receiver I have a r-10 Tivo....Does that have HDMI on it? Anyway, I need to try to run those lines from the dish to the receiver.

So they came out and put the round dishes up, (did not rewire!) and threw on a different multi switch. The picture still is blurry in the background and sometimes has a green/ gray tone.....on sides of faces and in the picture if it is a dark scene. I cannot figure this thing out....Directv...
