    They are. Dad has a Winegard and I have a Perfect 10. The Winegard has a round rod that goes through the ribs about halfway out from the center point. Other than that they are hard to tell apart.

    Looking for FTA Receiver with recording

    Dreambox 800 will give you HD and allow you to record over the network or to an internal 2.5" Sata drive. Cons: No blind scan, but you've already got the 9200 for that. No ATSC tuner. --------- Or, build a MythTV or MediaPortal system. It's a lot of fun.

    The Mini (from what I've gathered) must have just came out within the last few weeks. I didn't see blind scan in the specs for the mini. The 3000 blind scans dvb-s2??? Cool. I was looking the mini over because of the HL and it was reasonably priced, but the 3000 is definitely worth a look.

    I've found that when I'm programming satellites in the 920 or 922, I almost always have to use a different position for the Ku "tile" than the C band tile. I assume that you already set the 922 to "C and Ku LNB" or whatever the syntax is.

    I didn't specify an H or V TP. I was just using USALS to move the dish around in order to blind scan. Using the manual buttons on the rotor results in the same behaviour. One has to assume that selecting a channel on Horizontal polarity would give the rotor a little boost.
