    I currently have a Dish 1000.2 setup. I want to change to Eastern Arc because trees are in the way. Can I just replace the current triple LNB which is for 110,119,129 with one for 61.5, 72.7 and 77 and realign dish or do I have to replace the dish assembly too?? Please help!!!

    I am planning on connecting 2 dish 500's. One for 110 and 119 sats. The second for 61.5. 129 is blocked by trees. Will I need a switch and what kind?? I'll be using a 612 receiver. How do I do this connect both dish's to Switch and then to receiver?? Will check Switch work OK?? :rant::eek::D

    I don't know why anyone in southern NM would get Dish locals. I get 10 El Paso HD channels with a $35 outside antenna and the picture is better quality than any of my Dish HD channels.

    Power increase on 129' ??

    I see no signal increase. However some channels were moved from weaker TP's to stronger ones. Example Filmfest was TP 3 then TP 6 it is now on TP 31 Signal level is about 10 points higher.

    El Paso has 4 main networks HD plus KCOS PBS also ch 24 Spanish is HD. There's probably more but that's what we get in Alamo. With subs we get 12 total here.

    What is an acceptable signal strength

    My Signal from 129 in southern NM was 58 with TP22 and TP6 the weaker ones close to 80 on TP5 with Dish 1000. With seperate Dish for 129 I get 75 average on weak TP's 6 and 22.

    If I do a check switch with both 129 and 61.5 on line. Will the 622 pick 129 or 61.5??? If 129 goes out will it automaticly switch to 61.5??
