I just wish I could just pay for the freaking channels I wanted and no others. I don't care about 3D, ESPN, ESPNU, HBO HD, Showtime HD, or most other BS re-run channels...why do I have to pay for 190 channels I don't watch?? Given the OTA channels I get and what I can watch over the internet...

Yea, well DTV can kiss my a** if they will give this deal to new customers while they ignore old customers like me. We have been considering canceling DTV and going with OTA and internet broadcast....not sure what's stopping me form totally canceling.

Well I only watch a few channels and I called to cancel DTV and they dropped by monthly charge by $20 a month to keep me. I have 200+ channels and watch maybe 15 at the max...with the options available online I'm about ready to just cancel all paid TV and watch OTA or online. :rant:

I am just cancelling my TWC HD package, it sucks. The picture quality on the basic channels on the 53" is horrable and the HD skips and breaks out all the time. No problems keeping RR and having the Dish.

Sorry, yes I did get the 622 HD DVR for the media room. I have never heard of sharing a DVR before, tonight was our first night and it sucked. :) We have a busy house (6 people) and sharing one DVR is not going to cut it with the boss.
