I mislead you I think. THe Chieta is not a 22khz switch. I planned to take each of the two band lead to a different input on the chieta (it will hold 4 leads) then to my geosat. I thought that 22khz was not operational unless the jumper was used. In my setup it wouldn't be used. The geosat will...

No, I wasn't planning on using the jumper. I was going to route the two signals through an external Chieta switch. Then I could have 'C' band on 1 and Ku on another.

Hello Starman345 I did a PID scan (first time) and got a GOOD SIGNAL on 12060(V) so I'm pointed correctly??? A signal still doesn't show up under 'Dish' or 'Motorized Setting'. I can't understand how I can connect a channel and yet not "see" it.

Okay, my Coolsat's on Gal. 11 (centered on Nimiq 91deg.) with LNB set at Single & freq. at 10750 direct to a 'L' port on my LNB, bypassing switches. I get zero signal so I guess I have to rotate on the pole. Right? Can somebody tell me how to look for "an active transponder"? Thanks.

Hi Lak7; Okay did that. It's wired direct to an 'L' output zeroed on Nimiq, bypassing the switch. I'm showing about 85% signal with a quality about 7% BUT it does flash WAY higher for a split second. Not showing in the green though. It doesn't show anything if I change the frequiency to...

Thank uou Lak7, that helped. I went through from 85 degrees to 148 degrees and tried to change each one to universal 10750. I connected to Gal.10R! That's a relief! I thought the LNB was toast. So far that is the only one I can read. Most of the birds wont accept 10750. Maybe I'm just to far...
