    Picture will freeze & skip

    Is it on all channels or channels just on Sat 129.? See the thread on 129. It could be where you live and spring white out loss of signal. I had the same for 3 or 4 days but seems to have corrected itself. I am in PA and that is on the outer fringes of a the best footprint of 129.

    sporadic trouble with 129

    I had the same problem for 3 days. I assume that the problem may be do to the traditional Spring white out. It corrected itself yesterday and no problems (so far) since. 129 in PA is pretty low here but had it strong for a year since they moved our locals.

    DISH 1000 needed for new HD upgrade?

    I live in Erie and I guess not far from you. I was contacted by DISH and they took down both dishes and installed a 100.2 as mentioned above. I was told I didn't need 61.5 anymore nor the old 500. they were right. One dish 1000.2 and removal of two trees, I get all the HD with one dish.

    I wrote DISH about this but never got a reply. I have Jon Steward and also the Cobert Report to record on my 622 only new shows daily. It works fine except for Monday's when it records evrery single re-run all day long. What Gives?

    This is a growing issue as customers buy and replace second TV's with their second HD set. I hope DISH announces a new receiver that will provide a second feed. It has to come.

    Let's talk about VOOM.

    I have a 720P Samnsung and I can tell the difference from when it was sent full resolution on the old VOOM and the current HD-Lite on DISH. unless you have 1080P you will see the same down rez in 720p as in 1080I.

    I wish I could find the link but I recall that VOOM confimed last year that DISH requested they down rez and that it was not their idea. Then all this fiber talk was given as the reason. It would be so nice if DISH would release a clear statement rather than whisper "VOOM did it" in the back...

    Western PA here. Free 3 Meter C/KU dish with FEED for the taking. It is located on my roof. You will need two people and a ladder to get it. Write me back if interested. It is all metal perforated and in perfect round. Actuator included. I am disabled now so I can't help in bringin it down...

    Lost Signal Satellite 121, Ch.726

    When I lost 110 that contained my locals...I noticed that the 622 would not even display or allow me to see the OTA locals. cut them right out. So it must mean that the OTA module needs to see the SAT locals in order to display even on the guide.
