    Right now, Dish has Al Jazeera America in SD only. I believe that this is because of the old Dish and Current TV carriage agreement which ALJAM inherited when they bought Current. Does anybody know how long that agreement has to go before it expires? I abhor SD.

    I have a Mac and have successfully used both the PS3 server and TVMobili (also free). My Hopper has a wired connection to my Ethernet hub. The Joey gets its signal via the Hopper using bridging. I have no HIC. I have no problems with DLNA, although the only things I have streamed are MP4.

    That was the problem. I now have bridging enabled and everything works fine on the Joey as well as the Hopper. I have to admit I couldn't have done it without SatelliteGuys and MattG. I knew bridging was supposed to be possible but I couldn't have found it by myself in that menu maze.
