    The #1 reason for the Firewire going ba-bye is due to hardware problems. Problems caused by a company that simply cannot do anything right. Heads have rolled over this and more will fall. This is triple confirmed. The MPAA had nothing to do with it.

    I don't think any of this is funny. The same thing happened to a port on the back of the 721, a port that no longer exists on new models. It simply went away.     No. There is absolutely no way the manufacturer of your TV can tell if you entered into the service menu. Just be sure you know what you are doing, or have the TV ISF calibrated. Any good ISF guy can fix overscan.

    Monster Cables are WAY overpriced. You do not get what you pay for. Any standard Component cables priced far less will do you fine. BestBuy.com has a number of types for less money and they are 100% as good as Monster.
