DougE, Mine did the same thing. It usually reboots automatically after a new software download but I had to hold the power button in on the receiver for 5 seconds to force a manual reboot. Just do that and you will be good to go.

That is not true. You can have as many DVRs on your account as you like...you just have to pay $4.99 each for each new receiver you purchase with the exception of the 501, 508, and 721 which do not have DVR fees.

Has anyone else been able to add more than 29 minutes? I still cannot add more than that. They must have gotten your receiver confused with Charlie's if you are the only one that got the fixes.

From what I have heard thus far, the only announced product is a JVC D-VHS deck. But with all the talk lately about broadcasters trying to prevent people from archiving HD programs, I wouldn't be surprised if the D-VHS deck support is cancelled altogether.

That is correct...HDD does indeed mean Hard Disc Drive. I have one made by Panasonic. HDD is a universal term now in all DVD recorders that also have a harddrive built in. HDD is simply a new abbreviation for a format similar to VHS or DVD.
