I think they more then cover their costs. I think charging receiver fees is excessive. Dish is not the only one doing this.

I've had Fearnet via Uverse for a long time. It had some good stuff. It just seems that niche stuff usually goes by the wayside. I enjoyed the horror genre but it's a dying breed. MonstersHD anyone?

Bell and Starchoice(shaw direct) are excellent. I prefer Bell, equipment is better(made by Echostar) Plus programming is better. That said both have the time shifting. I loved that!!!

if your coming over to dish for equipment dish Has a huge advantage. But if your into sports you losing allot. Worth a call to see what promos you would get from dish. I would also see if Direc would give you great deals to stay. The highest bidder wins.

I dumped dish NHL for direct NHL long Ago. No MSG on Dish. Center ice should show the games you want. I'm sure your under contract but check Direc. No one does sports better. By the way I'm no shill for Direc. I despise their customer service. It sucks!

This is fishy. Hopper is award winning. By far the most advanced feature laden system on the market. Thats not bias its just fact! Those bad reviews are probably put there by people who have a gripe with dish. Discredit them at all costs.
