    Which LNBF?

Feeds Ok. It looks like cutting down on the dishfarm is going to be to expensive at $200+ for LNBF. We atleast want to get the feeds, especially TV shows, which I believe are Cband Analog that you can't get with a Ku motorized dish with a QPH-031 LNB. So are most Cband LNBF not capable of...

    Which LNBF?

My friend is thinking about getting a 10 ft dish. I was wanting to know what LNBF would we need to get both Cband and KUband linear and circular? I know we will need to have a Cband Analog receiver to go with an FTA receiver like the Coolsat 5000 to be able to move the dish, and to get the...

    SatMex 5 & 6

Well, that blows that idea out of the water. When a site doesn't give prices, I run. :D

    6-ft in Oklahoma?

I was wanting to know if a 6ft is big enough for Oklahoma. Looking to hit, Satmex 5 (116.8W), Satmex 6 (113.0W), and NSS-806 (40.5W). Both Satmexs or NSS-806 should be enough stations for my Hispanic friends, if they don't go motorized. Thanks....

    SatMex 5 & 6

I was considering a C-band fixed dish. Is it possible to put dual LNBs to hit both Satmex 5 & 6 at the same time? I know people do 4 degrees apart on Ku band, wondering if people do it on C-band. If so, what is the best LNBF to pull this off, and is there a piece that holds both LNBFs...

    Line of Sight

I have a lot of trees in my area, in the city, and am not for sure if the C-band 10ft dish I have, could hit many satellites. Could someone give may a site that will explain angles and line of site for C-band dishes, or is is basically just the level that the LNB is at is where it is seeing...

    Rca Drd303ra???

Thanks guys. Let me ask you this. The Legacy II receivers that use the newer LNBF logic, are they also capable of using the old "LNB" on the C-band stuff. Or is it a matter of deciding which LNB you have, as to which receiver you get. If Legacy II can use both types of LNB on the Analog...

    Rca Drd303ra???

Someone gave me one of these and told me it was for C-band. But some stuff on-line leads me to believe it is some type of DirecTV equipment. Please help me!

    US Electronics Legacy (Drake 1524)

I looked on one site that had C-band stuff, and every LNB for it said LNBF. Does that mean practically all new LNB are not going to work, or did I just go to a site that sold only one type? I am starting to get confused.... I got a 10 ft dish Monday, so I need to make a decision on a...

    US Electronics Legacy (Drake 1524)

Ok. I talked to the guy again. He made a mistake, and it wasn't the Drake 1550. It is really the Legacy. Would that be good for doing C-band Analog, straight FTA and Feeds? I don't care about the 4DTV stuff. I care about getting the stations you can't get on the big providers. <grin>...

    How to tell Analog/Digital?

I get it now. So, if I was looking at SatMex 6, even though the FTA channels don't say DVB or NTSC, I look to the top of that section for the provider and see what it is. Example: On that sat, the 5th item listed is Telesecundaria, which is FTA. The Edusat is like the Provider for that...

    How to tell Analog/Digital?

Hey, guys. Need to tell when looking at data on channels for C-band, how can you distinguish between Analog vs Digital? As far as the Lyngsat site, the colors for Analog/Clear and Digital Clear are so close, I can't tell the difference. Is there another way to tell? Just like all the...

    Drake 1550

I have a Pansat 2700, but looking for a C-Band receiver to connect with it to use a C-band dish. Someone had a Drake 1550 for sell. What is it? Is it Analog C-Band, or what? I am trying to be able to cover C-band Analog/Digital and Ku with my setup. I know I have to get the right LNB for...

    C-Band Analog VC II

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the time. Oh, also as far as Digital vs. Analog, the LNB is the same. It just means that if I am using a Pansat with C-band dish, I get digital channels only. If I want to view C-band analog then I have to get an old analog receiver, right. Thanks....

    C-Band Analog VC II

I was reading the C Band 6 Foot post. I am unclear concerning C-Band Analog Videocypher II encrypted channels. If I get something like a Uniden UST 4400 with VCII module, will it automatically decrypt the channels, or is it just used for a subscription service like 4DTV is? It seems like I...
